GrizzLights – Flare Taillight (Veteran Oryx)
We designed the Flare because stock taillights are just… fine. And “fine” isn’t good enough when you’re carving through traffic at night or leading a group ride. Your Oryx deserves better visibility, and riders behind you deserve a clear view of what you’re doing. The Flare replaces your factory taillight with a continuous 125mm red LED strip that actually gets noticed. It’s bright – significantly brighter than stock – with a smooth diffused finish that gives it that clean neon look. When you brake, it flashes. Not subtly. Unmistakably. Your wheel tells the light what to do directly, so there’s zero delay between your brake input and the signal.
The curved profile means visibility from angles stock lights miss – from above, behind, and below. Because riders and drivers aren’t always perfectly lined up behind you.

IMPORANT: pictures above were taken using exactly the same camera settings to show actual difference in light intensity!
Key Features:
- Significantly brighter than stock – full intensity operation
- Automotive-grade LED components
- 180° visibility from curved top and bottom edges
- Motherboard-synchronized brake signal with instant response
- 3-minute installation – plug and play, no wheel disassembly

- Black housing designed to match Oryx aesthetics
- Full charging port access maintained
Brake Signal System:
The Flare maintains maximum brightness during normal riding for consistent visibility. When you brake, your Oryx’s control system activates a distinctive flash pattern through direct communication with the light. This integration eliminates response delays and provides clear braking indication to everyone around you.
Why the curved design matters:
Most taillights are flat. The Flare isn’t. The LED wraps around the top and bottom edges, creating our signature “flare” effect. This means you’re visible from overhead angles (like riders on taller wheels or cars behind you) and from below. It’s not just aesthetics – it’s functional visibility that flat lights can’t deliver.
The 165mm × 20mm housing sits flush with your Oryx’s lines. The 125mm light bar does the actual work of being seen.
Installation (actually 3 minutes):
- Turn off your Oryx
- Unplug stock light, remove 2 screws
- Plug in Flare, install 2 screws
- Done
Your charging port stays accessible. Nothing gets blocked or modified.
Design integration:
The Flare’s housing is designed to flow with the Oryx’s design language, not fight against it. The rounded, illuminated edges extend your visibility envelope beyond what straight-beam lights achieve. And yes, you can still charge your wheel without removing anything.
Compatible with Stock and Grizzla Kits
The Flare works seamlessly whether you’re running stock rear handles or have upgraded to Grizzla Kit modules (Rear Handle and Bumpers). The mounting design accommodates both configurations without interference. Install on your factory setup today, upgrade to Grizzla modules later – the Flare adapts to your build.
