The kit focuses on the areas that matter most: impact protection, lift ergonomics, serviceability, and everyday usability. Every component is engineered to solve the issues of the P6 stock “protectors” by significantly improving durability, comfort and practicability.

From enhanced bumpers to ergonomic handles and an (actually working) integrated mud guard, the P6 Utility Kit upgrades your wheel into a more capable and rider-friendly platform for both urban commuting, aggressive riding, and offroad adventures.

All bumper and kit parts come in 15+ colors, including industry-unique matte finishes (like matte black) and military camo tones (army green, dark brown, sand white). The left and right dual coloring seen in the pictures is only for visualization.

MODULAR SERVICE DESIGN

 

One of the biggest improvements of the P6 Utility Kit is its service-friendly modular construction.

The wheel can be separated quickly, allowing easier access for maintenance tasks such as tire changes or suspension servicing.

This eliminates one of the biggest frustrations of working on the P6: having to remove the front handle, rear handle, and kickstand. Now they can all stay attached and be lifted up together with the battery pack, just like on a Lynx. This also saves on wearing out the soft threads of the P6 battery box, and there is no need to flip around the 51+KG wheel to access all the handle screws anymore.

FRONT AND REAR HANDLE

The P6 Utility Kit introduces a redesigned front and rear handle focused on comfort, protection and design.

Unlike the harsh edged stock front handle, the new design offers significantly improved grip ergonomics, making it easier to carry or lift the wheel — especially during longer handling situations like stairs, transport, maintenance or just while cruising seated. It has way more clearance for large hands with gloves, and makes pressing the power button more comfortable because it’s further infront.

The rear handle uses the same metal handle grip, and has the same quick disassembly as the front handle and kickstand, and is third party seat compatible.

Handle Options

Two front handle height options ensure the best fit for different hand sizes:

Standard Front Handle Height
Ideal for riders with medium to large hands who prefer maximum clearance and a nicer power button reach

-2cm Lowered Front Handle (coming soon)
Designed specifically for riders with smaller hands, providing a shorter distance to the power button. It also provides more knee clearance.  (although i haven’t found the stock height to catch your knee either)

FRONT BUMPER

The bumper provides both frontal, as well as side and underbody protection in areas most likely to hit the ground during drops or crashes, like the battery corner, pedal hanger and battery side edge.

The bumper also integrates customizable color accent elements, giving your wheel a distinctive look that can be paired with your pad colors. The Accents will be available on Cults (@Le_Fotografion) as STL file for home printing in different colors.

OPTIMIZED SECOND FENDER / KICKSTAND

An integrated splash guard protects both the wheels top cover, rear handle and rider’s jacket from water, mud, and debris.

The kickstand was reworked to have no holes for water to spray through, and seal against the mudguard. It has the same underbody and corner protection as the front bumper, and they also stay on the battery box during tire change.

There is also a detachable Mud-Flap, which can be customized to either have custom text, be larger, or have a different Shape. The flap will be available on Cults (@Le_Fotografion) as STEP file for home personalisation. The Kit will come with single colored flap.

About the Designer

The P6 Utility Kit was designed by an independent Swiss EUC rider and hobby designer with a strong desire to not damage his fragile P6. He’d rather spend 5 months every day working on this Kit then to endure the harsh front handle and complete lack of protection of his wheel any longer.

After some higher than expected interest from the telegram community, the idea of a collaboration was born. That way, even small creators can deliver their ideas to a broad market.
