Sync ONE joins the front and rear pads into a single continuous base per side. It keeps what riders rate Sync for: the dual-material feel that pairs comfort with control, ergonomics that leave you room to move, and the practical details, from crash-proof reflectors and plug-and-play lights to the tracker slot and the positioning kit.
What the one-piece format changes is the connection itself: front and rear become one part on a single base, with the largest continuous velcro contact we have ever put under a set of pads, and fixed front-to-rear geometry in three sizes.
Designed in Collaboration with Roger Chapman
Like the whole Sync platform, Sync ONE was developed in close collaboration with designer and EUC rider Roger Chapman, co-author of the Sync design. His insights into ergonomics, control, and real-world riding shaped the one-piece version from the first sketch.
One Continuous Base
On a two-piece set, the front and rear pads each attach to the shell on their own separate velcro footprint. On Sync ONE they are one part, and the continuous base (size M) carries 2 to 2.5 times the velcro contact of a single module.
A base with this much engagement does not creep, does not need re-tightening, and bridges shells where separate modules struggle to find full contact: side panels with suspension cutouts, interrupted velcro surfaces, limited flat area, or worn loop velcro. Set it once and it stays where you put it.
Fixed Geometry, Three Sizes
The distance and angle between front and rear contact zones is built into the base, so there is no front-to-rear dial-in period: the setup you mount is the setup you ride, every time, on every wheel you move the pads to. The whole base still positions as one unit: higher or lower on the shell, rotated to match your stance.
Three sizes, one variable: you. The right size comes from three things: your build, your footwear, and how snug you like to sit. S and M share identical geometry: same angles, same front-to-rear height reference, different spacing. L is its own fit: wider, with the front pad rotated further forward.
- S – the snug fit: for smaller and lighter riders, younger riders, low-profile footwear, and anyone of any build who wants the shortest reach to both contact zones.
- M – same geometry as S with more room. The most common choice among riders who tested ONE: average to tall builds, hiking shoes or roomier sneaker setups, and riders who like space to move between the contact zones.
- L – built for motocross and enduro boots, with the front pad rotated further forward: rigid shin protection reaches the contact zone earlier than soft footwear. L follows the boots, not the body: big riders and big feet in soft shoes usually still fit M.
Sized on Real Riders: EUC Race Pro, Prague
Sync ONE went through rider testing during the recent EUC Race Pro event in Prague. Here is how the sizes landed:
- Julien, one of the shorter riders in the group, tested on a KingSong S22 in ankle-height leather shoes and settled on size S without Extenders.
- Dan, a 12-year-old racer from the Nosfet Racing team, picked size S for the Aeon.
- Roger Chapman, co-designer of the Sync platform, short and slim and riding in Vans-style shoes, opts for size S on his custom-built KingSong S18 with flat side panels.
- Ondra tested on an F18 in hiking shoes and chose size M with a Front Extender.
- Vita, tall and slim and riding in EU 45+ sneakers, went with size M and a Front Extender on an S22.
- Andy also landed on size M, riding a Xeno in hiking shoes.
- Kamil from the Grizzla team, a tall rider in EU 45 running shoes, fits both S and M on his Aeon; his pick is M, because he prefers a looser fit over a snug one.
- Arek from the Grizzla team runs size L with a Front Extender on a Lynx S in high moto boots. In running shoes he also fits S, and in hiking shoes M is his preferred choice.
Several of the testers fit more than one size. Between S and M, the choice follows your build and how snug you like to sit. L follows the boots, regardless of build or foot size.
The Base Locks to the Wheel. Your Fit Is Your Choice.
One-piece pads sit at the maximum-connection end of our lineup. The continuous velcro contact has one job: to make the base behave like a fixed part of the wheel, through aggressive riding, racing and everything you put it through.
The base connection is fixed by design. Your fit is not: size and mounting height decide how much room your feet have.
Riding in traffic with frequent step-offs, choose the roomier size and mount with clear space above your foot, and you step on and off freely. Racing in a fixed setup, run it snug. If most of your riding is casual and you value maximum placement freedom, the two-piece Sync remains our recommendation.

Both platforms accept the same Front and Rear Extenders and the same lights. Sync XL is the two-piece Sync with Extenders included.

Dual-Material Construction
Sync ONE is built from two purpose-driven materials: a soft, adaptive pillow and a firm, load-bearing base. The materials work together to balance comfort, control, and structural feedback.
Soft Pillow
The soft upper conforms naturally to your leg and foot, spreading pressure and maintaining grip across all contact zones. It offers even, multi-zone traction during acceleration, carving, and braking — reducing fatigue on long rides while supporting precise movements without over-restriction.
Rigid Base
The rigid base provides a solid platform for power transfer, keeping your stance locked and stable under acceleration or braking. Its durable structure maintains shape under pressure and resists deformation from repeated force. It also houses the crash-proof reflectors and light mounts, making it both functional and built to take abuse.
Mount Once, Repeat Forever
Sync ONE ships with the Grizzla positioning kit: a liquid chalk marker and a removal spatula. Mark your outline, mount the base, and if you ever remove the pads (the connection is strong enough that the spatula is the intended tool, not a convenience), the single outline puts them back exactly where they were. One outline per side, no front-to-rear alignment to reconstruct.
Superb Ergonomics
The concave profile, diagonal front pad and pulled-down toe area come straight from Sync: shaped for riding, not standing still, with freedom of movement for tricks, turns and hard acceleration.
Tracker Slot
A recessed slot in the rigid base fits an Apple AirTag, so your tracker rides hidden inside the pad rather than taped to the shell.
FAQ
Which size am I?
Three things decide: build, footwear, and preference. Smaller or lighter riders, and anyone wanting the snuggest stance: S. Average to tall builds, hiking shoes, roomier setups, or big feet in soft footwear: M. Motocross or enduro boots: L, whatever your build. In doubt between S and M: frequent step-offs and a looser feel favor M, fixed race setups favor S.
What if I pick the wrong size?
We accept returns of unused pads with a 30% restocking fee, which reflects the number of size and color combinations we produce to order. If you are unsure before ordering, contact support and we will help you choose.
Will it fit my wheel?
Sync ONE mounts on loop velcro like every Sync product and bridges many shells with cutouts or interrupted surfaces. Shell geometry varies between wheels, so if you are unsure, send us photos of your side panels and we will check your setup before you order.
Can I still step off or bail?
The base connection and your foot room are two different things. Size and mounting height set your clearance; ride in boots and leave space above your foot if you step off often.
Can I ride seated?
Sync ONE is not ideal for seated riding: the continuous base favors a standing stance. If seated riding is a regular part of your style, the two-piece Sync with low positioning is the better choice.
Will my pedals still fold?
That depends on how high you mount the base, same as with any pads. Mount above the pedal fold path if you fold your pedals for transport.
Can I reposition it later?
Yes: spatula off, follow your chalk outline back on.
