Begode Extreme - Upgrades Combo: Front and Rear Bumper Installation Guide

1. Front Bumper Installation

Step 1:

Uninstall the Fairing Plates if you have them already installed but don’t remove the ergonomic top pieces

Step 2:

Remove two M8 bolts from the front handle and remove the handle bar. Keep the bolts, so you can re-use them further:

Step 3:

Insert the stock handle bar inside the provided rubber handle. Watch the angled cuts on both ends and align the elements before inserting:

Step 4:

Take the 4×30 pins and insert them on both ends of the handle. You might need to press it against some flat surface to push it to the end:

Step 5:

Insert the provided M5 nuts into hex slots in both Front Bumpers:

Step 6:

Slide in the first Front Bumper. Start by sliding the wing under the ergonomic top, then push the top part against the handle mount:

Step 7:

Place the handle in it’s place. Make sure the pin fits well into the hole and that the anti-slip texture is on the top:

Step 8:

Slide the other Front Bumper over the handle. Be careful to insert the pin into the hole and a wing under the ergonomic top:

 

Step 9:

Secure the handle with the stock M8 bolts:

NOTE: 2 countersunk bolts will be used after Fairing Plates Installation

2. Rear Bumper Installation

Step 1:

Take the provided M8x20 bolts and plastic spacers and join them together like shown on the pictures. You might need to screw the bolt in if the hole is too tight:

 

Step 2:

Insert the provided M5 nuts in the hex slots in both Rear Bumpers:

Step 3:

Remove the M8 bolt from one side of the speaker. Align and mount the matching Rear Bumper with provided M8 bolt with a spacer:

Step 4:

Repeat the previous step on the other side:

NOTE: 2 countersunk bolts will be used after Fairing Plates Installation

3. Fairing Plates Installation

Step 1:

Take the provided M4x12 bolts and start by attaching the first top corner of the plate. Holes that should be used are marked with green circles:

Step 2:

Insert the rest of the screws, but do not tighten them yet until all 6 are in. Once you face the resistance, don’t use the ball end of your wrench!

Step 3:

Attach the Front and Rear Bumper to the Fairing Plates with provided M5 countersunk bolts:

Step 4:

Repeat previous steps on the other side:
