Flush, pad-ready sides that follow the Xeno’s shell, corner armor, and optional rear lights that sit where they can be seen.
The Nosfet Xeno is a striking wheel, and its sculpted, perforated side shell is a big part of why. It is also the reason power pads have nowhere flat to sit. The Grizzla Upgrade Kit turns each side into one continuous, pad-ready surface that follows the lines of the shell, armors the four front battery corners and, with the optional Flare TailLights, moves the rear light up and out onto the fairings.
Fairings and corner bumpers ship together as the core of the kit. The Flare TailLights are optional: add them now, or later as a separate add-on, since they mount on the fairings you already have. Pick a bumper color, then choose TailLights: Yes or No.
Why Riders Choose This Kit
Pad-ready, flush sides
Leveling inserts and a continuous ABS plate give each side about 13in x 13in (33 x 33 cm) of velcro surface, so pads mount flat, stay aligned and go wherever your stance needs them.
Shaped for your legs
The surface is flattened but slightly faceted, mainly at the top, so the plate supports the pads without creating pressure points against your legs.
Front corner armor
Four impact-absorbing elastopolymer bumpers cover the top and bottom front corners of both battery cases, the edges most exposed in a forward tip-over.
Keeps the Xeno's look
The plate follows the outline of the side shell instead of boxing the wheel in.
Light & Service-friendly
Charging port, pedal folding and trolley handle work as before, and the plates come off in about 5 minutes for a full service. Fairings and bumpers add about 1.2 kg to the wheel
Bright TailLights
Optional Flare TailLights put two red LED modules on the fairing rear base, outside the wheel base. Side cutouts let the light out sideways, and the brake signal stays controlled by the wheel.
Fairings
The foundation of the kit, and the module making the Xeno power-pads ready EUC. The stock body is molded in several planes and opens up around the shock and the lower body. That shape is a big part of the wheel’s look, and it is also why flat-backed power pads have no even surface to mount on, so owners end up bridging the gaps with extra velcro and improvised inserts. The fairing levels the side first, then covers it with one continuous plate.
Two-Layer Construction
Leveling inserts sit in the key spots of the shell and bring every contact point to the same level. A continuous ABS plate is mounted on top of them, with loop velcro pre-installed across its whole face. The side is ready for pads the moment the plate is on.
Flush, Faceted Pad Surface
Each side gets about 33 x 33 cm (13 x 13 in) of continuous velcro. The surface is flattened but not dead flat: it is faceted slightly, mainly in the upper part, so the plate follows your leg instead of pressing into it. You get a flat reference for the pads and no pressure points above them.
Outline Matched to the Side Shell
The outline of the plate follows the lines of the side shell, so the wheel keeps its silhouette with the kit on. The plate also closes the openings in the side, including the shock window and the lower hole, which gives your pads a solid surface in those areas as well. The openings are not needed for cooling, so covering them does not affect the wheel.
Installation and Service Access
The inserts and plates mount with screws into the shell and velcro. Nothing has to be removed from the wheel. With the kit on, the charging port stays freely accessible, the pedals fold fully and the trolley handle is untouched. For a full service the fairing plates come off in about 5 minutes.
TailLight Mounting Points
The rear base of each fairing carries the mounting points for the optional Flare TailLights. With TailLights: No they stay unused and the stock rear lights work as before.
Pad Setups on the Fairings
Grizzla pads come with the hook side of the velcro pre-installed and attach straight to the plate. With about 33 x 33 cm of continuous surface per side you can place them higher, lower, further forward or back to match your stance. Pick the setup that matches how you ride:
- Full coverage, SYNC: front and rear modules shaped to work as one system, for full-wrap leg contact on fast or technical rides.
- Toe-box support, Flow Mixed: choose the Big front-bottom module if you jump often or want a larger toe-box surface. This is also the way to get toe support back if you ran the Beidou toe pads before.
- Low profile, Flow Compact: the versatile, lower-profile option for riders who want control without bulk.
- Simple and proven, Classic: the original Grizzla pad, well-proven across dozens of EUC models.
- Minimal, Baby: a touch of lateral grip without adding bulk.
Other velcro-mounted power pads attach the same way. The Beidou toe pads and front pads from the dealer bundle do not fit with the fairings. Power pads are not included in the kit.
Key Features
- Flush Pad Surface: about 33 x 33 cm of velcro per side, slightly faceted for ergonomics
- Pre-Installed Loop Velcro: ready for any velcro-mounted power pads
- Leveling Inserts: bring the shell’s contact points to one level
- Continuous ABS Plate: one surface, free pad placement
- Outline Matched to the Shell: follows the Xeno side shell, closes the shell openings
- Service Friendly: nothing removed to install, charging port free, pedals fold fully, plates off in about 5 minutes
- TailLight Ready: mounting points on the rear base
Front Battery Corner Bumpers
The front corners of the battery cases are the most exposed edges of the Xeno: in a forward tip-over they are the first thing to touch the ground. The kit covers all four of them, top and bottom on both sides, with bumpers in the same semi-elastic, impact-absorbing elastopolymer as our other bumpers.
Four Pieces, Top and Bottom
One bumper sits over each front battery corner, top and bottom on both sides, and adds a layer of impact-absorbing material exactly where a forward tip-over lands. The rest of the wheel stays as it is: no extra bulk on the underside or the rear. The four bumpers are part of the kit and are not sold separately.
Impact-Absorbing Elastopolymer
The elastopolymer is semi-elastic: it absorbs crash energy and gives under impact instead of cracking under load. It is also where the color goes: 15+ colors, including matte finishes and military camo tones.
Key Features
- Impact-Absorbing Elastopolymer: absorbs energy, won’t crack under load
- Front Corner Coverage: top and bottom corners of both battery cases, four pieces
- 15+ Colors: including matte finishes and military camo tones
Flare TailLights (Optional)
The stock Xeno rear lights are stylish and colorful, with an RGB light show of their own. They also sit low, inside the wheel base, so from behind and from the side the visible lit area is small. The Flare TailLights move the signal up and out: two red LED modules, each about 7 x 2 cm (2.8 x 0.8 in), mounted on the rear base of the fairings, outside the wheel base, in finned housings that follow the slotted pattern of the Xeno’s rear.
Mounting Position and Side Visibility
Mounted higher and outside the wheel base, the two modules are much easier to spot from behind. The housings have cutouts on the sides and the modules emit light through them as well, so the TailLights are visible from the side, not only from directly behind.
Wheel-Controlled Brake Signal
The TailLights are driven by the wheel through the stock rear light connection, the same way as the Flare TailLight on the Aero and Aeon. Steady on while riding, fast blinking under braking, switched with the wheel’s menu buttons like the stock lights.
Plug-and-Play Installation
The TailLights plug into the two 3.5 mm mini-jack ports of the stock rear lights. No wiring, no firmware changes, no opening of the wheel. Power draw is about 2 W per module, the same as the stock rear lights.
- Power off the wheel
- Unplug the stock rear lights from their mini-jack ports
- Screw both modules to the mounting points on the fairing rear base
- Plug the modules into the stock ports, close the rubber plugs and power on
The stock rear lights stay in place, unplugged. Plug them back in to return to stock.
Weather Protection
The modules are weather resistant. The jack connection is not waterproof, so it sits under the rubber plug, exactly as with the stock lights.
Key Features
- Two Red Modules: left and right, about 7 x 2 cm each
- Higher Mounting Position: on the fairing rear base, outside the wheel base
- Side Visibility: cutouts in the housing let light out sideways
- Brake Signal: steady on while riding, fast blinking under braking, controlled by the wheel
- Plug-and-Play: stock 3.5 mm mini-jack ports, no wiring
- Same Power Draw as Stock: about 2 W per module
- Weather Resistant: weather resistant modules, jack under the rubber plug
- Designed for the Xeno: finned housings shaped to the rear of the wheel

Important Notes
Available now. Orders ship within 2 to 3 weeks.
The Flare TailLights mount on the rear base of the fairings. They are offered as part of this kit, and separately for riders who already have the fairings.
Many dealers bundle the Xeno with a Beidou pad kit. The Grizzla kit replaces most of it: the Beidou toe pads, front pads and shock window covers do not fit together with the fairings. The Beidou brake pads on the trolley handle and the Beidou seat stay, and the trolley works as before.
We have test-fitted the GrizzLights Horizon on the Xeno. It fits in the available space and the beeper works. It needs slightly longer screws than on the Aero and Aeon. The stock front handle, however, obstructs both the lidar and the light beam. Fitting the Horizon means either removing the top plastic cover with the handles, or cutting out the front handle, which is a permanent modification of the wheel.
Until there is a solution every customer can apply easily, the Xeno is not on the Horizon compatibility list. If you still want to order a Horizon for your Xeno, add a customer note to the order and we will include an extra set of screws for this model.
Our Gripster EUC Pedals for Nosfet wheels are in prototyping. Launch is planned for late November 2026.
A seat and bottom covers for the Xeno are in design. No release date yet.
1-year warranty, 30-day money-back guarantee. Crash damage to the TailLights is not covered.
FAQ
No. The modules mount on the rear base of the fairings. If you already have the fairings, the TailLights are available separately.
No. Fairings and bumpers come together as one package.
Any velcro-mounted power pads. All Grizzla pads (SYNC, Flow Compact and Mixed, Classic, Baby) come with hook velcro pre-installed and attach straight to the plate. The Beidou toe pads and front pads are not compatible.
Yes, if they are velcro-mounted. From the dealer-bundled Beidou kit only the brake pads and the seat stay; the toe pads and front pads do not fit with the fairings.
No. The inserts and plates mount with screws into the shell and velcro. For the TailLights, the stock rear lights are unplugged.
With the TailLights installed, the stock rear lights stay in place but are unplugged. Plug them back in to return to stock.
Yes. The wheel controls them: steady on while riding, fast blinking under braking.
Charging, pedal folding and the trolley work with the kit on. For a full service the fairing plates come off in about 5 minutes.
About 1.2 kg for the fairings and bumpers together. The TailLights add a little more.
The sides change: the plate covers the sculpted side surface and its openings with one black surface. Its outline follows the side shell, so the Xeno keeps its silhouette, and the bumpers add a color accent at the four front corners.
